Tom Hanks regrets never fulfilling his ambition of playing James Bond, he has revealed. The star said he wishes he could have been picked to play the womanising 007 agent but says he is the wrong nationality to ever win the part.Speaking on The Culture Show he said: “We all view ourselves as James Bond but you have to be British to play him and I wouldn’t take Daniel Craig’s job away from him now. I’ll hand it over to him.”
