There are going to be a lot of crying girls on October 24, 2008, when the final installment in the High School Musical series hits theaters. Apparently this will be the last outing for Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens and their tweens-in-arms according to Kenny Ortega, the director of all three HSM movies. “This will be our last time together, and I love working with these kids so much,” he said. In the third and final film, Troy and Gabriella will find themselves at a crossroads as they plan to head off to college and don’t know what to do about their burgeoning relationship. And as anyone will tell you, long-distance relationships never work in college.
