hey jamie,

just getting to the point…….i know what position u are in and i know how you feel only cus i have been there b4 and i made my decisions as well as you have. i dont think that you should give up your child to any one. i am on your side but if i could do it then i know that you can do it. i got pregnant when i was only 15 and i would not give up my daughter for anything in the world. i was young and in school and still am…..i was shocked and really scared at first but i told myself that i already knew the consequences of my actions when i decided to have sex at such a young age. my mom supported my decision on keeping the child but i took care of her. i went to school and worked a couple of days out of the week and so did her father. he is also still in school. my mom would watch her while we worked but the rest is up to us. we both graduate this year. if we can raise a child and graduate HS and work then i know that you can do the same. now i never said that it was easy because it’s not…..but it was a choice we made when we decided to do things we did.

I dont think that she is going to give the baby to her mom simply because i think the girl knows that her mom didnt do a good job raising her or her siblings.

Um?? What?! Her mother should teach her some responsibility and MAKE her be responsible for the consequences of her poor choices. Her mother doesn’t want her to miss out on being a teenager but maybe if her mother taught her to take responsibility for her actions she will not turn out as screwed up as Britney. Jamie Lynn has many more resources at her disposal than other pregnant girls her age, and they work very hard to take care of their own children. She certainly can take of that child and the child would never suffer by any means. Jamie Lynn may miss out on a lot but when you make “grown up” decisions that is what happens.

Is she mad, her mum screwed up her big sis and her and she wants her mum to raise her child, she is insane. I know it’s not good being a teenage mum but other people do it, so why can’t she. Jamie Lynn chose to have sex at 16 and now she doesn’t want to have to look after the child..or rather is pressured into giving it to her mum to raise. Not good
