Publicity-seeking couple Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt just happened to run into the paparazzi during a visit to a jewelry store in Los Angeles yesterday. The Hills’ star was spotted trying on engagement rings with former fiancé Spencer Pratt on Wednesday. The couple, who broke off their 7-month engagement in December, spent the afternoon browsing the L.A. jewelry store Colette where Heidi tested out various earrings and diamond rings. Photographers heard the assistant saying, “there’s your engagement ring,” when the couple paid for their purchases. The blonde plastic surgery enthusiast was also seen wearing a ring on her engagement finger in the store. However, when asked outside, Heidi remained coy about the subject and said they weren’t engaged or getting engaged again.
