Ike Turner’s autopsy reports are in and it looks like he died from a cocaine overdose. The music legend died last month according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office from a cocaine overdose. Also cited, hypertensive cardiovascular disease and pulmonary emphysema. “We are listing that he abused cocaine, and that’s what resulted in the cocaine toxicity,” said Paul Parker, chief investigator at the medical examiner’s office. During his career he was arrested numerous times for drug-related charges. His ex-wife Tina Turner once said that his addiction to the drug transformed him into a violent control freak. He was 76. Sad, but true.
