Troubled Britney Spears jetted off to Mexico for a short day, with her British boyfriend, yesterday. The 26 year-old surfaced in Mexico with photographer Adnan Ghalib after a set of elaborate hoaxes to fool everyone into thinking she was off to New York or a host of other places. She refused to say where she would go next but has told her pals she wants to leave America and move to Birmingham in Britain. Pals say she told Adnan she wants to check out his home city and said: “If I like it enough I will make it my home. I need a fresh start and to be a million miles away from all the bullsh*t.” City builder John Martin said yesterday: “It’d be fabulous to see Britney in Birmingham, she’d love it. She’d become a hero. I’ve not met Adnan but all I can say is he is a very, very lucky man.”
