Just when we thought Amy Winehouse’s life couldn’t get any crazier she has decided she wants a baby. The British singer has reportedly told husband Blake Fielder-Civil that she wants to start trying for a baby as soon as he’s out of jail. Friends revealed her plans last week and say she reckons it could be the solution to her and Blake’s problems. “On her last prison visit she told Blake she wants to try and get pregnant as soon as she can. She reckons it would pull them together as a family and help them focus their lives on something positive. It sounds like a crazy idea, but on the other hand it could be the thing that adds stability to her life.” Blake is currently locked up in London’s Pentonville prison awaiting trial for charges of conspiracy to pervert the course of justice and assaulting a barman. He was denied bail over Christmas, but has another hearing on January 18 at which he will hope to be released. The friend added: “Amy is really hopeful he will be allowed out and that they can get on with their lives. But one of the first things she wants to do is hit the bedroom and make her latest plan come true. Amy has her mind set on it and will do all she can to make it happen.” Meanwhile, Amy is back in England after holidaying at Bryan Adams’ Caribbean villa, and was all smiles as she stopped off at Barbados’ international airport to get her flight back to the UK. She chatted happily with fans and posed for photographs by the check-in desks. Speaking to one, she again mentioned she would like to renew her wedding vows with Fielder “but he is in jail”. Her roller-coaster life in 2007 included eating disorders, depression and self-harm as well as public fights with Blake, copyright problems and canceled gigs.
