Actor Will Smith has stunned the world by declaring that Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler was a “good” person. The 39 year-old star, who likes to see the best in people, is convinced the former German leader did not fully understand the extent of the pain and suffering his actions would cause during his time in power.”Hitler didn’t wake up going, ‘Let me do the most evil thing I can do today’. I think he woke up in the morning and using a twisted, backwards logic, he set out to do what he thought was ‘good’. Stuff like that just needs reprogramming,”he said. Hitler’s leadership as Fuhrer during the 1930s and early 1940s resulted in the persecution of an estimated six million Jews in the Holocaust, and later on led to the start of the Second World War.

I don’t know why people have a problem with his comment. If Hitler felt what he was doing was wrong, or Heaven forbid “evil”, he simply wouldn’t have done it. No-one does ANYTHING they think is fundamentally wrong!
