Amy Winehouse to be investigated by police
Trashy singer Amy Winehouse is set to be to questioned by police over an alleged trial-rigging plot by her husband Blake Fielder-Civil. The 24 year-old will be quizzed under caution, and will be required to give DNA samples. She will also be required to have her fingerprints taken. Blake Fielder-Civil is currently locked up in London’s Pentonville prison, where he awaits trial for assault, and now Amy is to be questioned on her own potential involvement in the case. “Amy’s had her problems but she’s really terrified this time,” says a pal. “She’s teetering on the brink. If they’re both handed lengthy jail sentences she’s determined they’ll end it together rather than face years apart. She can’t live without Blake. Her family are worried sick.”Blake was originally arrested after an alleged incident at the Macbeth public house in Hoxton, east London, last June. Barman James King who was seriously injured, was allegedly offered a $400,000 bribe to change his story. A source told the News Of The World: “When police received their initial information the inquiry centred on Blake, his friend Brown and the original victim in the case. But after seizing a number of documents, it seems there is forensic evidence that may tie Amy directly to the plot. When you think about it, as soon as the figure of £200,000 emerged, the finger of suspicion started to point in her direction. How could Blake, who does precious little for a living, be expected to come up with that kind of money?”
