Troubled singer Amy Winehouse is finally ready to check into rehab after the New Year’s. British tabloid the Sun reports Amy’s team is following through with their plans to send her on a one-week rehab and detox treatment course in Israel. A pal of the British soulstress says Amy is desperate to shine at the Grammy Awards on February 10: “Amy has agreed she will sort her life out in the New Year. She wants to give the performance of her life in LA. But she’s going to throw a party over Christmas — which will probably be a messy affair.” Her pal adds: “Things have got worse for Amy since Blake was jailed. “She’s been taking more drugs than ever. It’s become like having a cup of tea.”
