Rap mogul Jay-Z recently bought a huge plot of New York real estate with the intention of turning it into a hotel or art gallery. The hip-hop entrepreneur paid $66 million for a chunk of land in Manhattan’s upmarket Chelsea through his company (J Hotels) and top secret planning is now underway.His partner, Scott Shnay says, “It’s a great piece of land in a great neighbourhood.” The rapper, who is currently dating Beyonce, already has a nightclub and is planning to open a branch in Las Vegas.
