Spice Girl Mel B is the favourite to win US TV show Dancing with the Stars after a high-scoring penultimate round, last night. The pop star was supported by her girl power pop group, Spice Girls, in Los Angeles as she outperformed her rivals, including singer Marie Osmond. The Leeds-born pop star scored 55 out of a possible 60 points awarded by judges in the final against US singer Marie Osmond and Brazilian racing driver Helio Castroneves. Talking about her routine, Len Goodman, a professional ballroom judg said: “It was crisp, it was clean, it was precise. For me, one or two funny bits in it but it was a great performance, a great opening for the night.” One couple will be eliminated at the start of tonight’s live results show on ABC before the two finalists perform one final routine. Singer Celine Dion is also expected to perform during the show.
