Actress Uma Thurman will join Tommy Lee Jones as co-host of the Nobel Peace Concert honoring former Vice President Al Gore. Tommy Lee’s whose participation was announced last week was also one of Mr Gore’s roommates at Harvard. The December 11 concert, held the day after the Nobel Peace Prize is presented, is set to draw top music and film stars, and will be broadcasted to more than 100 countries. Alicia Keys, Melissa Etheridge, Annie Lennox, Colombian rock musician Juanes, Scottish-born singer KT Tunstall, and many others are set to perform at the event. Geir Lundestad, the secretary of the Nobel Peace Prize committee, said they were delighted that Thurman had agreed to host. “She brings iconic style and substance to the event and will help us tremendously in our mission of spreading the global message of peace,” he said
