Michael Lohan, Lindsay’s dad, was on hand today to lead prayers before serving meals at the ninth annual New York City Rescue Mission Great Thanksgiving Banquet on Monday at 90 Lafayette Street in New York City. This would have been an ideal publicity shot if Lindsay had showed up to her help him. Instead, she was probably hitting up the stores after flying into New York during the weekend. Meanwhile, the father is also planning to open a restaurant where his daughter “can be around people she can trust -where she can hang her hat and call her own.” According to People, he is looking for a location in Los Angeles for the restaurant, for which he said Lindsay will be part-owner, although the opening date and menu are not yet known.
