American business woman Martha Stewart just lost her mother on Saturday due to a stroke. Martha Kostyra, also known as Big Martha, passed away at the age of 93. Stewart, 66, wrote on her blog, “I am very sad to tell you that my mom passed away. Here’s a tribute to Martha Kostyra — Big Martha.” Kostyra has occasionally appeared demonstrating recipes on various incarnations of Stewart’s television programs. R.I.P. Big Martha!
