Canadian songstress Celine Dion will appear on the TV soap drama All My Children on November 21st. The Grammy Award-winning artist will drop by Pine Valley, the fictional town that serves as the setting of ABC’s All My Children, playing herself and performing the title track from her new CD Taking Chances. “We are thrilled and honored to welcome Celine Dion to the All My Children stage. Her appearance with Erica Kane and her musical performance is a great treat for our audience. I can’t think of a better way to ring in the holiday season than with the angelic sounds of Celine Dion,” said executive producer Julie Hanan Carruthers. Dion is only the latest in a string of music stars to appear in daytime television, Victoria Beckahm recently appeared on Ugly Betty, Grammy winner Nelly Furtado appeared as herself and performed on ABC’s One Life to Live last February, while Enrique Iglesias performed on CBS The Young and the Restless .
